Steven Estrada, Ph.D.
Dr. Estrada graduated with a Doctorate in Psychology from Cornell University in 2010. He is an associate professor at Stephen F. Austin State University and is currently conducting research on topics of anticipation, affect, mood, memory, risk taking, and decision making. He has taught, or is currently teaching, the following courses: Introduction to psychology, statistics, biological psychology, experimental design, history and systems, and independent research.
Since he began working at SFA, Dr. Estrada has presented a workshop at Michigan State University, has chaired a Master's thesis, been a committee member on a Master's thesis, and has presented research posters to various psychological conferences, including: American Psychological Association (APA), Association for Psychological Sciences (APS), and Society for Judgment and Decision Making (SJDM). Dr. Estrada plans to present two additional research posters at the upcoming Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana in January 2013.
